Participation in State Leve Seminar on Scientific Bee Keeping – 05.12.2024
The Department of Agricultural Entomology, TNAU, Coimbatore organized State Level Seminar on “Scientific Bee Keeping” on 5th December 2024 at Anna Auditorium, TNAU Coimbatore. Dr.V.Geethalakshmi, Ph.D, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU, Coimbatore presided over the programme. On the occasion, I have been honoured for my intervention in Honey Bee Rearing, follow to this, I shared my Journey in Honey Bee Promotion since from past five years. As part of the programme, exhibitions was organized by the Department of Agricultural Entomology. I have showcased the AARA Honey Products in the exhibition. The Vice-Chancellor, TNAU, Director of Extension Education, Professor & Head, Dept. of Agricultural Entomology and other dignitaries visited the stall.
Participation in SAC Meeting – 22.11.2024
ICAR Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Gobichettiapalayam, Erode district organised Scientific Advisory Committee meeting on 29.11.2024 at KVK premises. During the occasion, Shri.Arvind G.Risbud, IAS., (Rtd) Executive Director of MYRADA, Bangalore, Scientists from ICAR Institutes, TNAU and Line Department Officials have participated. Mrs.E.Kavitha, Founder, Farm Pro Agro participated as a Member of Scientific Advisory Committee and provided recommendation on establishment of Incubation unit for Honeybee promotion in the district in coordination with National Bee Board
VIT Agriculture College Students Visits – 23.10.2024
Students from VIT Agriculture College, Vellore visited Farm Pro Agro on 23.10.2024. During the visit, the students exposed on Honeybee rearing techniques, Earthworm breeding methods and Vermi compost production techniques from the classroom session conducted by Mrs.E.Kavitha, Founder, Farm Pro Agro. Follow to the session, the students visited Honeybee Rearing live unit, Earthworm breeding unit and Vermicompost production units established at farm. In addition, the students learnt on Blacksoldier rearing method and compost production while visited the Blacksoldier rearing unit in the farm.
Karunya Agriculture College Students Visits – 09.10.2024
Students from Karunya Agriculture College, Coimbatore visited Farm Pro Agro on 8.10.2024. During the visit, the students learnt on Integrated Farming System and its different components. As part of the programme, the students visited Honeybee Rearing and Vermicompost production units. On the occasion, Mrs.E.Kavitha, Founder, Farm Pro Agro conducted method demonstration on identification of Queen Bees, Safe handling of bees & bee boxes and feeding methods.
Kadiri Farmers (Andra Pradesh) Visits – 08.10.2024
Farmers from Kadiri (Andra Pradesh) visited on 8th Ocotber 2024 to our Farm Pro Agro farm. During the visit they learnt on Organic farming practices through Integrated Farming System. As part of the programme, they visited different demonstration live units such as Honeybee rearing, Earthworm breeding, Vermicompost production units established in the farm.
Gobi Arts & Science College Students Visits – 08.10.2024
The students (MSc Chemistry) from Gobi Arts & Science College, Gobichettipalayam, Erode district visited Farm Pro Agro on 8th October 2024. During the visit, Mrs.E.Kavitha, Founder conducted classroom session on Honeybee rearing techniques, Earthworm breeding and Vermicompost production techniques. Follow to this, the students have visited Farm Pro Agro farm and exposed the safe handling of bee boxes, different types of bees and identification of queen bee. In addition they visited Earthworm breeding unit and Vermicompost production units in the farm.
Spices (Turmeric) – Buyer and Seller Meet – 13.09.2024
Department of Agricultural Marketing and Agri Business, Erode organized Buyer and Seller Meet for creating market linkage for Spices crop on 13th September 2024 at Erode. During the occasion, Mrs.E.Kavitha, Founder, Farm Pro Agro participated and displayed the Organic Turmeric Powder with the brand name of “AARA”. On the occasion, Shri.Gnanasambantham, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, ABIS-TBI TNAU Coimbatore and former DEE, TNAU Dr.Vadivel visited and she explained the value of Curcumin content in the turmeric powder which is produced by Farm Pro Agro company.
CGM, NABARD, Director, ICAR-ATAR, Hyderabad, DEE, TNAU Visits Exbibits – 10.09.2024
ICAR KVK inaugurated Eco-Tourism Center at Arepalayam in Dhimbam hills of Erode district on 10.09.2024. Mrs.E.Kavitha, Founder, Farm Pro Agro attended the programme and exhibited the Value added farm products and also showcased the organic inputs in order to disseminate the technology among the farming community of Dhimbam hills. On the occasion, the dignitaries Shri.R.Anand, CGM, NABARD, Chennai, Dr.Shaik.N.Meera, Director, ICAR – ATARI, Zone X, Hyderabad, Shri.Arvind G.Risbud, Executive Director, MYRADA, Bangalore and Dr. P.P.Murugan, DEE, TNAU, Coimbatore visited the exhibit.
Deputy Director (Micro Irrigation) Visits – 14.08.2024
Deputy Director of Agriculture (Micro Irrigation) visited our Farm Pro Agro on 14.08.2024 along with Department Officials. As part of the programme, visited Earthworm Breeding unit and Vermicompost Production unit established at our farm.
Executive Director & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU Visits – 04-07-2024
Farm Pro Agro received grant assistance for the innovation on “Organic Seed Coating Formulation” in the year 2021 from Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, New Delhi under the scheme of RKVY RAFTAAR. On completion of the Project, Shri.A.V.Gnanasambandam, Executive Director & CEO, ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore and team visited Farm Pro Agro company on 4th July 2024. Mrs.E.Kavitha, Founder explained about the production status and scaling up of the innovation. As part of the program, the officials visited Organic input production and different demonstration units established at Farm Pro Agro farm.
Director of Extension Education, Dr.YSR Horticulture University (AP) Visits – 09.06.2024
Dr.E.Karunasree, DEE, Dr.Y.S.R. Horticultural University, Andhra Pradesh & Dr. Bharath Krishna, National Skill Foundation of India along with ICAR KVK Scientists visited our Farm Pro Agro on 9th June 2024. On the occasion, they visited Earthworm breeding unit, Vermicompost production unit, Honeybee Breeding unit and Millet Procession unit established at our farm. Mrs.E.Kavitha, Founder, Farm Pro Agro shared her experiences in organic farming practices by adopting Integrated Farming System (IFS) approach. Also she shared the innovative formulation for organic seed coating for agri and horticulture crops.
Inauguration of TBI Product Promotion Center – 20.05.2024
ABIS-TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore established TBI Product Promotional Center (TIPPC) at TNAU Campus. The incubatees’ products are showcased in this center for marketing network. Dr.V.Geethalakshmi, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU inaugurated this Center on 20th May 2024. During the occasion, Mrs.E.Kavitha (Incubatee) displayed and explained the AARA Honey Bee Farm products (Organic Turmeric Powder, Honey and Ragi Flour) to the respected Vice-Chancellor with the presence of Director, ABIS-TBI, TNAU and Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director.
National Leve “BEST AGRI STARTUP” Award – 22.02.2024
Mrs.E.Kavitha, Founder, Farm Pro Agro received National Level “BEST AGRI STARTUP AWARD” on 22nd February 2024 at National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad. Shri.Faiz Ahmed Kidwai, IAS., Additional Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi presided over the function and distributed the National Level “Best Agri Startup Award” with the presence of Dr. P.Chandra Shekara, Director General, MANAGE, Hyderabad and Dr.Saravanan Raj, Director, (Agricultural Extension), MANAGE, Hyderabad.

Mrs.E.Kavitha, Founder, Farm Pro Agro received “SEMMAI MAATHAR” Award under the Best Innovative Entrepreneur (Agri Tech) at EDII – Periyakulam Horti Business Incubation Forum, Horticulture College and Research Institute, Periyakulam on 29th December 2023 for her contribution in the field of Agri & Entrepreneurship development.
Honourable Minister for Information and Broadcasting, GoI, visits Exhibits – 23.12.2023
ICAR-KVK organized Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme on 23.12.2023 at Uthandiyur, Bhavanisagar block of Erode district. As part of the programme, organized exhibits to showcase the Organic products in order to create awareness among the people. Mrs.E.Kavitha, Founder exhibited Organic Products and Organic Seed Coated Seeds and Organic Liquid Manure developed by her. Honourable Dr.L.Murugan, Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India visited the stall and she was explained on the Organic formulation coated seeds and Organic liquid manure and its efficiency.
Valedictory Function: Honey Rearing Skill Upgradation Programme – 22.12.2023
Mrs.E.Kavitha, Founder, Farm Pro Agro participated the skill upgradation training on Honey Bee Rearing at TNAU, Coimbatore from 7th November to 27th November 2023. The training programme organized by Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC). The programme successfully completed and valedictory function was organized on 22nd December 2023. Shri.Manoj Kumar, Chairman, Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) as a Chief Guest and presided over the function & distributed the certificate.
Workshop on Outscaling of Natural Farming through KVKs – 15-16.12.2023
ICAR-ATARI, Zone-X, Hyderabad & Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU), Lam, Guntur organized the Workshop on “Outscaling of Natural Farming through KVKs” at RARS, Chintapalli, Andhra Pradesh between 15th & 16th December 2023. Mrs.E.Kavitha, Founder, Farm Pro Agro participated and presented the experiences and milestone achieved in “Integrated Organic Farming” practicing. 44 Scientists from ICAR Institutes, ANGRU, Telangana Agriculture University, Tamilnadu Agriculture University, IIRO, Hyderabad, KVK Scientists from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamilnadu have participated.

As pert of the programme, they visited IFS component unit established at farming such as Earthworm breeding, Vermicompost production, Goat rearing and Honeybee rearing units. Earlier, they visited Millet Processing unit established with the support of Department of Agricultural Marketing and Agri Business.

Farmers Training cum Exposure Visits – 03.11.2023
Department of Agriculture, Sathyamangalam Block of Erode district organized farmers training cum exposure visit to Farm Pro Agro on 03.11.2023. During their visit, Mrs.E.Kavitha, Founder conducted training on Organic farming practices and its importance in the present scenario. Also, shared the innovative formulation for Organic Seeding Coating and its features for agriculture and horticulture crops. As part of the programme, the farmers visited IFS units such as Earthworm breeding unit, Vermi compost production unit, Organic liquid manure production unit and Bee rearing unit established at farm.
